  To add a custom script to a keyboard shortcut in Maya, open the Hotkey Editor via Windows > Settings/Preferences > Hotkey Editor. Optionally, create a new category under User.
  Then, create a new hotkey by clicking New... and fill in the details: name, description, and paste your script into the Command field, ensuring you select Python if it's a Python script.
  Assign a key combination by clicking Assign New Hotkey... and pressing your desired keys.
  Finally, save the new hotkey and close the Hotkey Editor. Your script will now run when you use the assigned key combination.
